On Sunday July 14, His Eminence joined the faithful of Holy Ghost Church in Ambridge for the Divine Liturgy commemorating the Fathers of the First Six Councils. During the visit, His Eminence Archbishop Melchisedek elevated Deacon Matthew Stahoviak to the rank of Protodeacon. Protodeacon Matthew celebrated the 15th anniversary of his ordination to the Holy Diaconate this past week, and in recognition of his many years of faithful service to Holy Ghost and the Diocese, our Archbishop bestowed this award on him.

May God grant the newly-elevated Protodeacon Matthew, Matushka Victoria, and their family many blessed years! Axios!
