Glory to Jesus Christ!

With the blessings of both His Eminence, Archbishop MELCHISEDEK, and His Eminence, Metropolitan GREGORY, I am MOST pleased to share the news of an “official” 2O24 ARCHDIOCESE OF PGH AND W PA (OCA) CAMP WEEK - an event that has not occurred in many, many years for us! This July 21-27 camping week will take place at the beautiful Carpatho-Russian Diocese’s Camp Nazareth located within the boundaries of our Archdiocese in Mercer, PA, for our diocesan youth 8 - 18 years of age.

Please see the attachments to this email for more information. We ask you to quickly make this camping week known locally since parents will, undoubtedly, be in the midst of making summer plans now in early April. Please especially discuss this with the parents of children ages 8-18 in your respective parishes since the benefits to Orthodox youth experiencing the environment of an Orthodox camping week vs. a secular camp are quite demonstrable!

Also attached to this email is a third flier concerning a YOUNG ADULTS SPRING RETREAT being held very soon at Camp Nazareth - - please share this info as well locally.

(As was the case with my previous youth activities announcement about our PIRATES PNC PARK May 10 BASEBALL TRIP, I once again THANK Frs. Cadman, Sochka, and Vernak who were instrumental in working with me to get this camp week planned - - their leadership is GREATLY appreciated!)
