The Holy Ghost parish in Ambridge recently celebrated Daily Vespers in conjunction with a unique event - His Eminence, Archbishop MELCHISEDEK, hosted several dozen bishops who comprise the College of Bishops of the Anglican Church of North America who were meeting in Ambridge for a week-long national bishops’ conference. In addition to Fr. William Evansky, Archdiocesan Chancellor and Host Pastor, Fr. John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon’s Seminary, participated as part of an ongoing bilateral discussion group both he and the archbishop hold with the Anglican Church of North America on behalf of the Orthodox Church in America’s Holy Synod. His Eminence then hosted a reception for the bishops planned on his behalf by the Holy Ghost parish at the nearby Trophimus Center.
