Last Sunday, the parish of St. John the Baptist in New Kensington held Mission Vespers for all Orthodox faithful in the greater New Kensington area. Fr. John was joined by Father Sam Smolcic (OCA retired), Fr. Justin Mokhiber (Antiochian, St. George’s in New Ken, and Fr. Michael Gavrilos (Holy Dormition Greek church, Oakmont) who gave the homily. Fr Michael Senyo (Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Jeanette) helped sing.
