Overcoming Temptations and Addictions: Presentation by Dr. Albert Rossi

Every Christian struggles with temptations, great and small, and they are certainly pervasive on social media. As we move through Lent, our temptations seem to become even more intense. The Orthodox Church, fortunately, has a wealth of profound teachings, both ancient and modern, on this subject. Dr. Albert Rossi will draw from them and from his insights and experience as a counselor as he presents “Living Orthodoxy: Overcoming Temptations and Addictions” at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Canonsburg, PA.  There will be additional opportunity to interact with Dr. Rossi during the Lenten supper after our 6:00 p.m. Vespers service.

Dr Rossi serves as the resident Clinical Psychologist at St Vladimir's Seminary, and has been a member of its Faculty Council for 20 years. He has written two books for Ancient Faith Ministries, Becoming a Healing Presence and All Is Well, and he has a podcast on Ancient Faith Radio titled “Becoming a Healing Presence.
