The Faithful of St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to clean up and spruce up their parish cemetery. While we often prayer together in church for those who have fallen asleep, it is important also to visit and pray at the place where their earthly remains lay. Unlike some faiths that focus only on the spiritual ascpect, Orthodox Christianity teaches us that on the Day of Judgement, our earthly remains will rise and be rejoined with our spirit, enfleshed in the new body and soul of Christ's Resurrection.
