On Thursday May 16, Father Andrew Nelko, rector of St Nicholas Church in Weirton, and Deacon John Schultz (in his weekday physician work attire) visited the staff and patients of the Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center, in nearby Triadelphia. The Wheeling Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) serves adults who are struggling with opioid addiction by providing medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, to help adults of all genders achieve long-term recovery from opioid addiction. During their visit, Father Andrew held a memorial service for those who have struggled with addictions and have passed away.
