On Friday, May 10, 50 young and young-at-heart Orthodox Christians from around the Archdiocese spent Bright Friday together at PNC Park watching the Pirates take on the Chicago Cubs.
A good time was had by all!!

======================================================================================
Glory to Jesus Christ!
I am VERY pleased on behalf of the archbishop to announce the return of a diocesan night at PIRATES PNC PARK BASEBALL in 2024 - - FRIDAY, MAY 10 - 6:40 PM - - the first such trip in a number of years! All of the info is included on the attached flier so please review it and contact Fr. Alexander Cadman if you have any questions about this May 10th baseball trip.
*** It is important to note the short response time that was necessary - APRIL 10.***
Note that even though the trip is labelled “Youth Day,” it’s for EVERYONE in the diocese as well as GUESTS invited by you! (As a bonus … just think how DELICIOUS that “ballpark dog” will taste on Bright Friday!) LET’S GO BUCCOS!
[Finally, on a personal note, I truly THANK Frs. Cadman, Sochka, and Vernak who have been central in working with me as an informal “youth activities steering committee” to plan this baseball trip plus other youth events I will share with you in the near future.]
Fr. Bill
Archpriest William J. Evansky
Chancellor
