Faithful from around the greater Johnstown area will gather together in prayer at at begininning at 4pm.

On Sunday, March 24, the Eve of the Major Feast of the Annunciation and also the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the First Sunday of the Great Lent, St John the Baptist Church in Conemaugh, Johnstown, hosted this year's observance of the Sunday of Orthodoxy for the Johnstown area and the other parishes in the "Eastern Deanery". The Vespers Service began at 4 PM, and it was largely shaped by the fact that it is also the Eve of the Feast of the Annunciation. His Eminence preached at this Vespers as well. A Lenten meal was served in the church hall following the Vespers.
