At 12:15pm Sunday January 7, the faithful from St John the Baptist Church, St George Anti­ochian Ortho­dox Church and others around the greater New Kensington area gathered together to bless the waters of the Allegheny. All were invited to join them at the Tarentum Boat Launch, just under the bridge on the west side of the river.
