On Saturday November 4, sixty four clergy and lay delegates from 29 parishes around the diocese met together at St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Allison Park. The day began with a Divine Liturgy, celebrated by His Eminence, the Chancellor Archpriest William Evansky, Cathedral Dean Archpriest John Mikita, Eastern Dean Archpriest Mark Meholick and Soutwest Dean Priest Andrew Nelko (see photos below).

The delegates met in the Cathedral itself to conduct the regular "business" of administering the Archdiocese, in accordance with the diocesan bylaws. In addition to the routine reports (available on the Assembly reports page), a presentation was given Archpriest John Dresko and Popadia Kathrine Vitko on the Orthodox Church Capital Improvement Fund (occif.org)

The day conclude with the celebration of evening Vespers.

The date of the next Assembly will be Saturday November 2, 2024 at St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Allison Park. Clergy and parish council members should mark their calendars now to save the date.
