Please keep in your prayers the newly departed servant of God +Gregory Nescott who reposed in the Lord unexpectedly this afternoon. As most of you know, he was a pivotal lay leader for many, many decades in our Archdiocese, the Orthodox Church in America, the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America (FOCA/FROC), the Cathedral Choir of Pittsburgh, the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - - the list goes on and on! Visitation will take place at the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (8290 Thompson Run Road, Allison Park, PA 15101) from 2 PM until 7 PM Wednesday. A Parastas service will end the day beginning at 7 PM Wednesday. The funeral service will take place in the Cathedral beginning at 10 AM Thursday. Interment will be at St. Tikhon’s Monastery Friday afternoon.
Please keep his wife Lory as well as their children Justin, Kate, and Alex in your prayers during this time of loss.
Also, please remember in prayer the newly departed servant of God +Paul Graycar who also fell asleep in the Lord this afternoon. Paul was a priest in our diocese several decades ago until retiring to become a counselor after being laicized at his request. He was also a member of the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and frequent attendee of services and activities at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Ellwood City. (Read more)

The funeral service will take place in the Cathedral beginning at 10 AM Saturday. Interment will be at Transfiguration Monastery Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm.
