On September 16, faithful from around our deanery gathered at St. Mary's to participate in the parish's first Readers' Workshop. Attendees reviewed some helpful tips regarding the pronunciation of difficult words, and then took turns chanting excerpts from the psalter and Apostol. After each passage, encouragement was provided and helpful tips for improvement were shared. The plan is to have additional workshops throughout the year to allow more people to participate in the work of the Church.
