Deacon Christopher Meholick of St Nicholas Church in DuBois fell asleep in the Lord Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Montefiore Hospital. Born on December 22, 1960 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Ronald E. and Katherine A. (Smith) Meholick. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives and lives in Sykesville. On October 7, 1990, he married his wife of 35 years, Kira (Lukashevich) Meholick. She survives. Chris was a 1979 graduate of DuBois Central Christian High School. He retired as a well-known technician from Comcast after many years of service. In July 20023, Christopher was ordained to the Holy Deaconate to serve his longtime parish of St. Nicholas. He was a well-known and well-loved clergyman, entertainer and musician in DuBois and the greater Clearfield County area.

In addition to his wife and mother, Deacon Chris is survived by two children, Marina Meholick of Reynoldsville, PA, and Nicholas Meholick and his wife Sierra of Indiana, PA; siblings, Archpriest Mark Meholick, rector of St Nicholas Church, John Meholick, and Catherine Stewart and her husband Thomas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and God children, whom he loved very much.
