On Saturday, March 14, the Faithful of Ss Peter and Paul Church in Crossingville held a Lenten Retreat focusing on living with simplicity by Fr. David Vernak, a practicum on hesychia with Fr. Daniel, and a presentation on the canonization of St. Olga of Kwethluk by Mka. Mary Wusylko. Mka. Mary so graciously gifted Fr. Daniel with holy soil from St. Olga’s grave including pieces of her casket, and brought two veils embroidered with “Rejoice, Saint Olga, our gentle mother” and a beautiful icon of her to showcase. Delicious morning coffee was provided by @thecoffeecounter_eriepa, run by some of the parish's teens.
